Senior Counsel

Omosede specialises in International Tax and the Legal Aspects of International Finance. Currently she is a pioneer member of the firm’s budding tax dispute resolution team, co-ordinates the publication and editorial team, a member of the foreign direct investment practice and she is actively involved in the corporate commercial practice and company secretarial services of the firm.

Before working in the firm, she had gained prior vast experience and made forward thinking and undisputable contributions in a plethora of cases in Alternative Dispute Resolution as a means of settlement outside courts in relation to tax, land, tortious, breach of contractual and reciprocal agreement matters while working with LawWorks, a member of the national Pro bono office and the Law Society, United kingdom. She had also worked at the Lagos Internal Revenue Service, where she was actively engaged in enlightening, educating and creating awareness on tax related issues among the residents of Lagos state, took part in selective tax audit of companies and business enterprises, identifying and proffering quick solutions to taxpayers for irregular tax assessment and an exceptional member of the tax research team.

She also support a couple of charitable organisations: a member of the United Nations Economic and Social Council on Child Development; focused on the promotion and protection of the girl child education in Africa and a member and the Secretary General of Persons With Disabilities in Lagos State.

Omosede is an alumnus of the University of Lagos, Akoka and the Queen Mary University of London, United Kingdom. She was admitted to the Nigerian Bar in 2008 as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria and a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria.
